Kia ora koutou,
We have been in contact with the Snow Farm to gain some more information about access for Snow Kiters for this coming season. Snow Farm must operate within the Covid-19 Pandemic framework and as such our ability to go Snow Kiting is dependent on the level/s that are in place throughout the season. As such, there are no guarantees.
However, they are planning on opening and the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds (SHPG) will continue to maintain the road for access to the Pisa Range. This is positive news for Snow Kiters. We may get a season up on the Pisa Range after all!
With this information, we can now look at holding our AGM.
The Southern Snow Kiters Association Annual General Meeting will be held on the 18th of May 2020 at 1900 hours on Zoom Video Conferencing.
For the agenda and last meetings minutes, please refer to the April 2020 Update.
For those that haven’t used Zoom previously, it is a free online video conference application. We can have up to 100 people in a meeting for up to 40 minutes. If the meeting takes longer than this then we can schedule another 40 minute meeting straight afterwards.
We will send out a meeting link to everyone on our email list and and post it on the Facebook Group and also here on the website.
You can attend a Zoom meeting on your desktop or laptop computer by going to https://zoom.us/download and downloading the relevant app. Or you can download the Zoom app for Android or Apple phones.
Because we are limited in time, please keep any points / discussions brief and to the point.
We should only be dealing with items that are directly relevant. Any minor items can be sent to the committee to be resolved with them at a later date.
If you have any questions before the meeting, I am happy to try to answer them if i can – email me at bryan@redgecko.co.nz
Ngā mihi,
Bryan
President
